Our process, whether it's the project of developing or re-building a web site, to a powerful web application like the Customer Relationship Management system, is basically the same.
We work with you every step of the way. We have no templates that we just slap in place and walk away. Instead we find out how you work, what your company is about, and we go from there...
Planning The Project
We meet with you, either in person (if you are in the Seattle / Puget Sound area) or we can meet over the phone. IntentionallyU examines your business and how you work. We try and get a feel for the culture and the idea behind your company.
We ask a series of questions to guage the scope of the project, and we go over ever detail that you will need to be aware of so that there are no surprises down the road...
Gathering / Creating Resources
If you have any existing corporate marketing material, including logos, product descriptions, mission statements, etc. that we can use to develop a strong idea of your company, we ask for copies of those.
If you need assistance in the creation or development of these types of materials, we can do that, and that gets added to the Project Plan. We use these resources so that as we work with you we can maintain a level or individuality for your web site or application.
Again, we craft our solutions intentionally for you so that the experience you receive is completely for and about you.
Finalize The Project Plan & Contract
With all the necessary materials, we are ready to begin building your solution. We make sure that we both understand and have signed off on the due dates and project milestones, and the final contract is signed.
Working On The Project
IntentionallyU works on the project, reaching established milestones and delivery dates, depending on what the project is. For example, a web site can usually take a week or two,
while a web application or an intranet can take more than a month, depending on what is needs to be capable of doing.
Presenting The Draft
This is the critcal step. Like most things in life, web sites and applications are subjective. What Person A was thinking is usually a little different from what Person B was thinking. And that's okay.
During the Planning stage we worked with you to design this intentionally for you. But there are always a few things that don't turn out the way you expected. During this step we present to you a working draft of the project.
Since it's our job to make this project for you, this is the step in the process to let us know what you like and what you want to re-work. We then head back and fix those areas that you tell us about.
Re-Working The Project
Here we are making the changes you requested and finalizing the project. When we have finished the changes we go back to step 5 to make sure you are satified with the results.
Presenting The Final Project
It's complete! We get your final approval and release the project, either by publishing the web site to the server, or begining to train you and your co-workers how to use the web application or intranet.
Wrap Up Meeting
At the end of each project we meet with you again to make sure you are completely satified and that we have met the terms of the contract.
